# Summary

This proposal is intended to extend the position of JB, to continue leading UX/UI Design at NFTX, for an additional year.

# Rationale

JB has been active as the UX/UI design lead within the Core team, being responsible for designing all user-facing interfaces, such as the recently launched [NFTX V3 app.](https://v3.nftx.io/)

In the coming year of V3 iteration, both on protocol and product level, the core team would like to extend JBs’ position. This guarantees that the Core team has a designer to ship new features and updates, based on internal roadmaps and learnings from user feedback post-V3-launch.

If this proposal passes, JBs’ position on the Core squad of NFTX will be extended for an additional year, according to the specifications listed below.

## Opportunity

- By retaining JB, NFTX operations are able to continue in executing our mid-to-long-term roadmap defined by Core and Product.
- We will be able to support, improve, and iterate NFTX’s frontend following the launch of V3, driving toward key feature releases planned by Core.

# Specifications

If this proposal passes, JB keeps responsible for leading UX/UI design. His main responsibilities are to:

- Lead NFTX UX/UI on a daily basis
- Guarantee designs for new products are delivered to other team members to be used for new products
- Build product(s) that contribute to the increase of NFT liquidity, inventory, and volumes across the board.
- Coordinate across product/dev team to gather feedback and iterate product
- Collaborate with Marketing and BD where needed for assets and/or gathering product insights

# Funding request - Yes - Implementation Requires Funding

- In order to extend the position of JB, we’d like to offer him a similar competitive annual package to the previous year, for which funds are required from the DAO treasury. Packages are paid with a 75-to-25% ratio in USDC/NFTX.

The total amount of funds required from the treasury:

- 120,000 USDC over a 12-month vesting schedule via Sablier.
- NFTX tokens worth 40,000 USD, paid quarterly based on the current market rate.

These funds are to be paid from the DAO Treasury after the vote passes.

# Quorum (For forum)

- Minimum Quorum: At least 5 votes
- Passing Threshold: More than 50% must vote in agreement for the XIP to Pass. For changes to the NFTX contract, more than 70% must vote in agreement for the XIP to pass.
